This is our robot:
the Ruumba.

Main Function:

It uses Pneumatics to apply air pressure so that the clamp can clamp down upon mobile goals, then it will lift them up through a 1:3 gear ratio, making it easy for us to move them around the rink.

Main Goal:

Our main goal is to bring back neutral goals to our designated alliance side to either stack them on the platform or we primarily ‘turtle’ in the corner with a neutral goal and home goal in our possession, until the last 30 seconds of the match where we will drive up the platform to park on the now balanced platform.

Secondary Function:

We all so have a rear lift which when we slide the two c-channels under the crevices of the mogo to then lift it up. This increases our number of possessions of mogos to 2 and it is also perfect for the 'turtling' strategy.

Automnous Programs:

Our Autonomous can work both on the right and left side of the rink, it's main function for both is to try to launch rings via acceleration into a mobile goal that is in front of the robot. The other function that works only on the left side can not only do the main function, but it will then move toward a neutral goal and clamp down upon to move it back behind the line that tells if it is truly on our side to gain both the win point and a further advantage in driver period.
